Iron Worker for Assignment by LETA Consulting AB

We at LETA Consulting AB are now looking for an experienced and reliable ironworker to work with one of our clients. You will be employed by LETA Consulting AB and assigned to the client company, with the opportunity for permanent employment after 6 months.

About the Role As a ironworker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing structural and reinforcing iron and steel for buildings, bridges, and other structures. This role requires precision, physical strength, and a strong focus on safety.

The work location is northern Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, work descriptions, and specifications.
• Position, align, and secure steel components using welding, bolting, or riveting.
• Cut, bend, and weld metal components as needed.
• Operate lifting and hoisting equipment to position materials.
• Inspect work areas and structures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Documented experience as a ironworker or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using welding tools, cutting torches, and heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Relevant certifications (such as welding or safety certificates like OSHA) are advantageous.
