Examples of serious shortcomings, offences or irregularities

  • Irregularities is a collective term for a group of undesirable behaviours and ways of acting with consequences for the agency’s reputation or activities. The collective term covers, among other things, dishonest behaviour, bribery, favouritism, fraud, embezzlement, conflicts of interest, abuse of power, unnecessary wastage of resources, harassment, threats, violence and causing damage.
  • Serious shortcomings could, for example, include suspicion of systematic faults and shortcomings within the agency.
