Arbetsträning
Do you need to try to work to be able to start or return to work? If so, work training may be right for you. Work training involves supervised participation in the activities at a workplace.
What
Job training means you will spend some time in a workplace and participate in the operations. You will get the opportunity to work with the help of supervision without any productivity requirements. It can involve participating in a work situation, for example hanging out with co-workers. You will also find out about the requirements and expectations in a workplace. Through work training, you can gain experience and references that can make it easier for you to get a job.
The duration of work training differs depending on which programme you participate in. If you participate in a Job Guarantee for Youth, the work training can last for up to 3 months. For participants in the Introducion Programme and the Job and Development Guarantee, work training can last up to 6 months. For those who have participated for a long time in the Job and Development Guarantee, the duration has been extended to a maximum of 12 months.
For whom
Job training training is intended for participants in the Job and Development Guarantee, the Job Guarantee for Youth or the Introducion Programme.
How it works
- Please contact us if you are interested in work training. Together we will find out which workplace is best for you.
- The employer will appoint a supervisor to help you in the workplace.
- Before you start your reinforced on-the-job training, we conclude an agreement with you, the employer and the supervisor. The agreement concerns, among other things, what support you need, what tasks you should be given, your working hours and how long you should participate in reinforced on-the-job training.
Benefit and conditions
When you receive this support, you are taking part in a programme. You can then apply for benefit from Försäkringskassan. Here, you will find out more about how to apply for the benefit and what rules apply when you take part in one of our programmes.
