How it works
First, we assess your business idea and how you are placed to run a company. We start from your experience and what other abilities and circumstances you have for running a business. We also take into account the circumstances of the labour market and competition in your industry.
If you wish to start your own business, you can in some cases have a work experience placement to increase your experience in the industry in which you will run your company. If you have not run a business before, we can in some cases offer information meetings, consultancy and a start-up course.
You are entitled to aktivitetsstöd, utvecklingsersättning or etableringsersättning. You can receive financial support for a maximum of six months.
You are not insured through activity support. You must therefore review your insurance cover yourself.
How to take the next step

We review your situation together. An employment officer assesses whether the support is a good way to increase your job opportunities.
What support we can offer you depends on what your situation looks like. Who is entitled to any kind of support is ultimately regulated by the government.
