Uppdragsutbildningar för akademiker

If you have an academic examination, you can complement this with courses in our procured training programmes. The purpose is to make it easier for you to get work in your occupation or to increase your chances of passing the theory test in a regulated profession.

What are training programmes for graduates?

Arbetsförmedlingen cooperates with universities and colleges to offer training programmes that are funded by Arbetsförmedlingen and cover training in occupations where there is a need to employ personnel. The purpose is to enable those who have taken an academic examination to complement this with courses that will make it easier to get work in your occupation or increase your chances of passing the theory test in a regulated profession.

The courses are at higher education level and in some cases they will result in higher education credits. Participants can apply for activity support (aktivitetsstöd), not student aid (studiemedel) from the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN). The training courses are full-time and taken remotely, so you can live anywhere in the country.

A number of training courses begin with academic Swedish or other preparatory content and may end with job experience in the occupation. The preparatory training and job experience are delivered via Akademikerspåret Korta Vägen (fast tracks for graduates). You can also participate in Akademikerspåret Korta Vägen without taking the training course.

Who can take procured training programmes?

The training courses are for those who are registered with Arbetsförmedlingen as a jobseeker and have passed an examination in the subject area/occupation in question. The college or university assesses your qualifications and Arbetsförmedlingen takes a decision on acceptance. You need to be proficient in Swedish.
