The aim of a job at Samhall is that you should develop your ability to work and your professional skills. The long-term aim is that you are able to get a job with another employer.

Are you registered with us as a jobseeker and have a disability that affects your working capacity? If so, Samhall may be the right workplace for you. You are given the opportunity to develop in work and to improve your long-term potential to find a job with another employer. If you are under the age of 30 you are prioritised for temporary employment with Samhall.

How it works
It is we here at Arbetsförmedlingen who assess whether you can be given a job at Samhall. What support we are able to offer you depends on your particular situation.
- If you are interested in working at Samhall, you need to start by telling an employment officer. Prepare yourself so that you are able to justify why this support might improve your chances of finding a job.
- We map out your situation together. If you meet the conditions for a job at Samhall, you may be offered the opportunity to visit there. This allows you to find out more about what it is like to work and develop at Samhall.
- If we assess that Samhall is right for you, there may be a job for you when there is a vacancy. If so, we come to an agreement with you and Samhall in which we describe what goal you have for your employment, what the various steps are that you need to take to develop and what support you may need.
- Throughout your employment, your manager will encourage, challenge and support you. The goal is for you to one day be ready to take the next step and move on to a job with another employer.
Pay
When employed at Samhall, you receive wages and other employment benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.
