EU-funded projects
The Swedish Public Employment Service carries out several initiatives with EU funding. We run and co-finance projects that are in line with our mission and contribute to the development of our activities.

European Social Fund
The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) is the EU's most important instrument for investing in people. The Swedish Public Employment Service has a mandate to participate in and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the programme with the aim of strengthening and developing national labour market policy. The projects are financed by the European Social Fund, administered by the Swedish ESF Council, and owned and run by the Swedish Public Employment Service.

European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF)
The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) is an EU fund set up to show solidarity with workers or self-employed people who have been made redundant due to major restructuring. The Swedish Public Employment Service is the managing authority for the fund.
The EGF can be used in the event of large-scale restructuring, regardless of the cause, such as the coronavirus crisis, digitalisation, automation, the transition to a low-carbon economy or other major changes.
The main rule is that the EGF provides assistance when more than 200 workers are made redundant at the same company or at several small companies in different industries. The fund has an annual budget of €210 million for 2021–2027 and can cover 60 per cent of the costs. The Swedish Public Employment Service is the managing authority for the fund

Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)
The AMIF supports projects that contribute to a long-term sustainable migration policy, including in the area of integration. Running projects with the support of the AMIF offers a great opportunity to contribute to the continued development of society and the field of migration.
