Tell us about suspected benefit fraud

Here, employees at government agencies, municipalities, or unemployment insurance funds can report to Arbetsförmedlingen if they suspect that an employer or a person receiving benefits from us is committing fraud. This also applies for tips regarding a person with a decision about a program or support from us. We investigate all cases.

Examples of benefit fraud

  • The person for whom the employer receives a grant must repay all or part of the salary to the employer.
  • The person for whom the employer receives a grant does not work for the employer.
  • The employer who receives the grant has no company or premises for its activities.
  • The person who has a decision about a programme or activity, is abroad.
