Introduction benefit
Introduction benefit (etableringsersättning) is money for which you can apply from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) when you have received a decision on participating in the introduction programme (etableringsprogrammet). You may also be entitled to other forms of compensation.

Important to know when you have compensation
When participating in programmes, you must comply with the conditions so that you do not risk having your compensation suspended for one or more days.
Your compensation amount
During the mapping period, you receive SEK 231 per day. When you are finished with mapping, and when you have developed your plan together with us, you will receive SEK 308 per day. You can apply for money for each day that you participate in the introduction programme. You may also be entitled to various additions. You can read about how much money you will receive on the Swedish Social Insurance Agency’s website.

How compensation is paid
You apply for compensation with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency after each month that you have participated in the programme. The money is paid afterwards.
You apply between the 1st and 7th of the month and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency pays the money on the 26th of that same month.
If you apply after the 7th, your compensation will be paid the 26th of the following month at the earliest. If you do not apply before the month is over, you are at risk of going without compensation for the month before.
