How to find a job
For those who want to get out in the world there are many ways of finding a job. You can search international job banks or staffing companies or send a spontaneous application to a company you want to work for. Here are some websites where you can start looking.

Get help from Eures when you look for jobs in Europe
Arbetsförmedlingen is part of the network European Employment Services, Eures. The network consists of companies and organisations that collaborate to match jobseekers and employers throughout the EU/EEA and Switzerland. In the Eures portal you can register as a jobseeker, find job vacancies and get information about what it’s like to work abroad.

How to look for a job
If you are looking for a job in Europe, you can use the European CV template Europass. Europass is one of the most widely used CV formats in Europe. It is easy to fill in and employers and educational institutions are familiar with it.
Create a Europass profile
Start by registering and creating a Europass profile with information about your education and training, work experience and skills. Then you can create as many CVs as you like with just a few clicks. Choose your favourite design and what information you want to include and Europass does the rest.
You can create, save and share the CV in 29 languages. You can download your CV, save it in your Europass library and share it with employers or on the Eures portal and other job advertisement sites.

Advice on how to write a job application
With the aid of Europass, you can write your CV and personal letter in the language of the country or in English. For applications to Norway or Denmark, it is often good to write in Swedish. Sometimes you may also need to translate relevant certificates. Through Europass, you can easily attach your diploma or vocational diploma issued directly by the university or training provider. On the Eures portal, you can also get advice and tips on how to write applications in different countries. You can also get information on things like living costs, healthcare and tax in different countries.

Financial support when you are looking for a job abroad
In some cases you can get financial support to travel to a job interview in the EU/EEA and Switzerland. You must be registered with us and apply for the compensation in advance.
