Individuellt pedagogiskt stöd vid utbildning

You can get pedagogical support, as well as related aids and facilities, when you participate in some of our training and education programmes.

What

If you have a disability, you have the opportunity to receive pedagogical support when you participate in some of our training and education programmes. You are supported by a person who, for example, helps you to structure your studies, study techniques etc. This support can also be complemented with various forms of aids and facilities, such as spelling programmes, speech synthesis software etc. This support acts as a complement to preparatory training and education, labour market training or education at a Folk High School.

The support can be 5-30 hours per week, depending on what you need. There are often more hours of support at the beginning than the end of your training or education, because the idea is that you will be as independent as possible in the longer term. The total length of the support may vary, but at the longest it lasts until the date you finish your training or education.

For whom

The support is for those who have a disability that means that extra support is needed to participate in our training and education programmes.

How it works

  • First, we must have decided that you can take a training or education programme and that you need individual pedagogical support to manage this programme because of your disability.
  • Before your programme starts, we will plan it together with the supplier that provides the pedagogical support. The supplier maps out your specific needs and the support that suits you. This usually takes 1-3 weeks.

During your training or education programme, we will continually check with you on how you think the support is working.

Insurance

It is the supplier of the support that is responsible for any insurance of work aids.
