The EURES-network in Sweden
Welcome to the National Coordination Office for EURES (NCO). We are responsible for the coordination of the EURES network in Sweden. We are part of the Swedish Public Employment Services.
Eures – European Employment Services
The European Union’s principle of free movement of workers is considered one of the most important rights of EU citizens. The purpose of EURES – European Employment Services - is to help and support both workers and employers in finding each other across national borders within the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
The European Job Mobility Portal – a meeting point for candidates and employers
The EURES portal is the hub of the EURES network. Here you will find both job vacancies and candidates from other countries. The members of the EURES network will continuously update the portal with new CVs and vacant positions.
On the EURES portal, you will also find information about the living and working conditions in the EU/EEA member states and Switzerland.
Why become a member of the EURES network?
The EURES network is for companies and organizations that provide employment and recruiting services. Membership is free of charge.
As a member or partner you are offered:
- Participation in recruitment events, both in person and online
- Access to job seekers’ CVs
- Ability to post job vacancies in the EURES portal
- Access to free training in European recruitment for your staff
- Opportunities to collaborate and exchange experiences with other network members both in Sweden and abroad
- Access to information on living and working conditions in EU/EEA member states
Apply for membership
You can apply for membership at any time. However, new members are admitted only twice a year, on the 1st of April and 1st of October. The NCO is responsible for administrating and approving the applications. If you have any questions about the membership, please contact The NCO.
Application is done through Visma TendSign. To apply, you need to create an account. If you already have an account, just log in and apply.
Conditions to become a member
To become a member of the EURES network, your company or organization needs to be a Swedish legal person. You will also need to:
- Contribute to the EURES portal’s pool of job vacancies
- Contribute to the EURES portal’s pool of CVs
- Provide support services directly to jobseekers and employers
Members should be able to perform all three tasks. If you are only able to complete one or two of them, you can instead apply to become a partner of the EURES network.
